Get the Look | Boden

When Boden was chosen by you to be my next Get the Look I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous! I have shoes from there (their clogs are amazing!) but I’ve never quite clicked with their clothing. I’m happy to report that I managed to find some amazing clothes with pattern dupes. Enjoy!

Pevensie pencil wrap skirt

Lenaline Patterns – Katya skirt

A wrap skirt is such a classic they even made it on the Great British Sewing Bee! I love the slim fit of the Katya skirt and it looks great in suede.

Peppermint magazine – Wrap skirt

Another option to dupe this skirt is the free pattern from Peppermint magazine.

Cassia jersey midi dress

Wardrobe by Me – Wanda wrap dress

A good wrap dress is a staple in every wardrobe. I think the Wanda wrap dress is a great dupe. You’d just have to lengthen it a bit and then you are sorted.

Georgia jersey tee

Tilly and the Buttons – Romy top

A basic striped tee that’s anything but basic. Romy has the perfect neckline to dupe this Boden top with the added bonus of a super fun bow design on the back.

Hampshire ponte culottes

Friday Pattern Company – Joan culottes

The ultimate weapon in every secret pyjama work wardrobe: jersey trousers. Comfort and style. What’s not to love? I’m definitely adding these to my to make list.

Maggie jewelled cardigan

Jennifer Lauren Handmade – Juniper cardigan

Boden make lovely cardigans but you don’t have to knit one to get this effect. Choose a super soft jersey and you can make a cardigan that is perfect for those summer days.

Catriona Linen Dress

Peppermint magazine – Button up dress

Who knew free patterns could look this good? Ok so you’d need to lengthen it and add a tie but I think this is a great starting point for the dress.

Closet Case Patterns – Fiona sundress

The neckline is different on the Fiona sundress but the rest of the dress is pretty perfect. You could even mash the peppermint neckline with the rest of the Fiona dress to get the perfect dupe.

Dorothea wrap jumpsuit

Maison Fauve – Salopette Sailor

I struggled to find an exact dupe for this jumpsuit but I’ve found some which have similarities so hopefully there is one you like. These gorgeous dungarees have the lovely button detail I like on the Boden one.

Papercut Patterns – Sierra jumpsuit

You could also hack the Sierra jumpsuit to fasten with a button which would give a similar look.

Josie belted dress

Vogue Patterns – V1671

I didn’t think I’d find a pattern for this dress as it is such a unique design but Vogue pulled it out of the bag.

Phew! That was a big one. I hope you found something in that round up that you like. If you’d like to vote on future weeks then I put the poll up each Sunday on my instagram. Next week is Reiss!
